Hasbil Agricultural Products has been operating since 2005 as the corporate continuation of a family trading legacy rooted in the Karasu district of Sakarya since 1988. The company is among the largest hazelnut procurement and export firms in its region of Turkey.
The foundations of the company were laid by Hasan Genç, who was born and raised in the Adatepe village of Karasu. A deep connection to the land and agriculture remains the cornerstone of the company's supply chain strength and its contribution to local employment. This legacy has been carried forward under the leadership of Habil Genç, evolving into a corporate structure with an international export vision.
The Karasu facility has been built on a longstanding bond with the region and a supply infrastructure that has matured over decades. 1988-2005
Between 1988-2005, he and his son Habil GENÇ maintained an honest, self-sacrificing, hardworking and fair commercial policy. Their ideals and perspective have been the reason why they are intensely preferred by the regional producers.
1999
In 1999, due to the inadequacy of the existing central workplace, they established a corn drying and storage facility in Adatepe village.
2005
Genç Ticaret has always added new successes to its successes over time, and with the developing market conditions and growing business volume, it took a step to transition from a private company to a corporate identity in 2005. The company continued on its way with the commercial title of Hasbil Tarım Ürünleri İhr. İth. Paz. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. under the partnership of Hasan Genç and his son Habil Genç.
2007
Our company, which accelerated its trade relations with its new title and renewed company profile, started its branch operations in 2007 by acquiring the land where the Söğütlü Branch is located, and gradually expanded its customer portfolio.
2007
After the death of our founder Hasan Genç in 2007, his son and company partner Habil Genç became the manager of the company.
2009
With its vision, customer-oriented and customer satisfaction-oriented perspective, and dynamism, Hasbil Agricultural Products increased the capacity of the Corn Drying Facility in Söğütlü district to 2000 tons/day and increased its storage capacity to 20,000 tons by 2009, as a result of the intense interest and demand of the local people, and put it into the service of our farmers.
2019
In 2019, our Corn Drying and Storage Facility in Adatepe village of Karasu district was revised and transformed into a Hazelnut Cracking Facility established on an area of 20,000 m² consisting of an indoor production site of 1,400 m², indoor storage site of 2,250 m², and a social area of 1,000 m², and engaged in the purchase/sale of shelled hazelnuts and the production of hazelnut kernels.
